Every bodysuit here, FemmeBasics and Femme X alike, is made in Colombia. The Mesh Bodysuit with Choker & Cuffs is an 82% polyester, 18% spandex mesh that is fully see-through. The Versatile Temptation Body is lace with a deep V, strap details, gold-tone hardware and an open back. The Enchantment Straps Body blends cotton, polyester, Lycra and nylon for a softer hand.

What separates these bodysuits

Sheer mesh versus lace

Mesh shows everything and is the pick for a see-through lingerie look. Lace is semi-sheer and reads as lingerie even when worn as a top. Both stretch four ways; neither has a lining.

Open back and strappy backs

Open-back bodysuits leave the back bare from shoulder blades down, with straps holding the shape. They photograph well and stay put better than you would expect because the leg openings do the work.

Femme X mirror and mesh bodysuits

Femme X bodysuits are One Size, cut minimal, in mirror, holographic, fishnet and mesh finishes. They are built for dance floors and stage sets, and they come off the same Medellín cutting tables as the lace bodysuits.

What is the difference between a bodysuit and a teddy?

A teddy is looser, with a camisole top and short, loose bottom. A bodysuit is fitted through the torso like a leotard. If you want it to hold its shape under clothes, you want a bodysuit.

Are bodysuits sized like tops or like panties?

Go by your torso length and bust. FML bodysuits run S/M, L/XL and 2XL; see the size guide. Femme X bodysuits are One Size.

Can I wear a lingerie bodysuit as a going-out top?

Yes. The lace and mirror bodysuits are made for it. Mesh bodysuits need a bra or pasties underneath if you are going out in public.
