Sexy swimwear is swimwear cut for showing skin: thong swimsuits, Brazilian bikinis with tie sides, sheer and mirror micro bikinis, and monokinis that connect top and bottom with cut-outs. Everything in this collection is minimal coverage by design; if you want a full-coverage one-piece, this is the wrong page.
Most of the range is Femme X swimwear, sized One Size and cut and sewn in our own factory in Medellín, Colombia. The Brazilian Bikini is the FemmeBasics piece in the mix, made in that same factory by women artisans in an 82% polyester, 18% spandex fabric, unlined, with adjustable tie sides, in ten colors.
Picking a cut
Thong bikinis and Brazilian bottoms
A thong swimsuit bottom leaves the rear bare with a narrow back strip. A Brazilian bikini covers a little more, roughly a third of the rear. Both tie at the hip on the styles here, so fit adjusts across the One Size range.
Micro bikinis
Micro bikinis shrink the triangles and the bottom to the minimum that still stays on. They come in sheer mesh, solid and mirror finishes; see the full micro bikini collection for coverage notes.
Monokinis
A monokini is a one-piece with the sides or midriff cut away. It reads as a bikini from the front and a one-piece in the water. All the cut-out styles are in monokinis.
Quick answers
Is sheer swimwear see-through when wet?
Sheer mesh styles are see-through wet or dry; they are made for pools and beaches where that is the point. Mirror and solid styles stay opaque.
What does One Size fit?
Femme X One Size swimwear relies on tie sides and stretch fabric. We have not yet published measured ranges for it, so send us your measurements before ordering if you are unsure.
Where is this swimwear made?
In our own factory in Medellín, Colombia. FemmeBasics and Femme X swimwear come off the same lines that make MaleBasics men's underwear.
Can I wear the mirror bikinis in water?
They are swim-styled but built for the stage and festival use. Rinse after chlorine or salt water and air dry.
