About FemmeBasics

FemmeBasics is the women's lingerie label of MaleBasics Corp

FemmeBasics makes lace and mesh lingerie for women and sells it from Miami, Florida. We are the women's line of MaleBasics Corp, a men's underwear manufacturer that has run its own factory in Medellín, Colombia since 2008. The same cutting tables, sewing lines and quality checks that produce MaleBasics briefs and thongs produce FemmeBasics teddies, garter sets and lace thongs.

That matters because most lingerie stores are resellers. They buy finished pieces from a catalog and write descriptions from the photos. We cut the lace, sew the seams and decide where the scalloped edge lands, so when a product page says the lace is 78% nylon and 22% spandex, that number comes from our own fabric order, not a supplier's marketing sheet.

What we make

FemmeBasics lingerie, the FML catalogue, is made in Colombia: lace lingerie sets, underwired lace bras, thongs and g-strings, bodysuits, teddies, garter belts, stockings, lingerie skirts and Pima cotton top-and-panty sets. Sizes run S/M, L/XL and 2XL on most styles, S through 2XL on the set families, and One Size or One Size Plus on the bralette and garter sets. Measurements are on the size guide.

Femme X is our own stage and beach line: mirror and holographic bodysuits, micro bikinis, monokinis, mesh two-piece sets and g-string packs, built for dancers, festivals and pool parties. It is cut and sewn in the same Medellín factory as the FML lingerie, not bought in from someone else's catalog. Most Femme X pieces are One Size, with stretch fabric and ties doing the fitting.

How we sell

Everything ships from our Miami warehouse, and international orders go by FedEx. We also sell wholesale to boutiques, dancewear shops and online retailers through wholesale-malebasics.com and this site's wholesale page, and we run an affiliate program for creators.

What we will not do

We do not describe fabric we have not handled, and we do not invent a fit range we have not measured. If a One Size range has not been measured yet, the product page says so and asks for your measurements. If a piece is see-through, the description says see-through. If it is on sale because a color is being retired, the sale page says that too.
